Dr. Arash Ghazitabar, postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Materials Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, received Alborz Cultural Foundation Award for the Distinguished Researcher. Mr. Hamed Shushtari, PhD student at the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, received Alborz Cultural Foundation Award for the Distinguished Student.

Dr. Seyed Hossein Mirbagheri, faculty member of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy, received the Outstanding Industrial Project Award in Research Week 2020. This award was received for designing and manufacturing a hydraulic roller jack a the cement plant. 

We are honored to announce that MME Students, graduated from the bachelor program of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, acheived high grades in the national enreance exam for Master programs held in 2020.

The book "Simulation of Casting Processes" by Bahmani, Baghani, Mirbagheri and Davami, Publications of Amirkabir University of Technology, recieved national commendation of Iran's Book of the Year from Ministry of Culture & Islamic Guidance.
